This is the Fire King Early American Prescut Star of David pattern, by the Hocking Glass Company. It is large, thick glass and heavy at 2.5 pounds. It is 7 3/4" in diameter, 1 ½" tall. It has four cigarette grooves. There are 3 small shallow chips on the bottom that do not show and are not noticeable. Otherwise in very good condition. One is in excellent condition and will be sold first. Beautiful vintage 1950s collectible ashtray.
#LA-14 Large Amber Italian Glass Ashtray, Circa 1950s
This is a lovely vintage 50s Italian Glass ashtray with a swirling feather and flower like design in relief on the bottom. This is a 2 part molded shape measuring 9 1/2" in diameter, 1 ½" tall and weighs 4.9 pounds. It is a deep amber almost ruby colored glass. The top sides and bottom rim have a pattern to them. The six grooves are 1" long, ½" wide at the top and 3/8" deep. On close examination there is a 1/4'' shallow chip on the top edge, a ¾" shallow sliver and a tiny nick on the side near the bottom. None are noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of this fabulous vintage ashtray.
Unique and Gorgeous; Large, Heavy Glass Amber Bubble like ashtray. Prescut glass with raised like smooth rocks or bubbles. Deep corner indentions. The deep amber glass is clear and catches the light to almost sparkle. It is an 8 3/8” rounded square, 2 1/8’ deep 1” wide top edge. Excellent condition
