Vintage and beautiful unique vase. The top is an artistic free form with uneven scallops. One scallop forms a circle.The side panels are uniform, wider at the bottom with prescut like knobbed ribs that get smaller going up the vase. There is a starburst on bottom and a rim at the base. The vase looks like glass and feels like glass and even pings like glass when you thump it. It doesn't seem to be as heavy as a glass vase this size would be. It may be glass or some kind of acrylic as it does not look at all like plastic. It is 15 1/4" tall. 6" wide at the top, 4" base diameter. No chips, cracks or flaws, Very Good + Condition. Spring branches such as apple blossoms, and summer stems like crepe myrtle, as well as winter holly would look spectacular in this lovely vase.
Vintage 50s, beautiful unique vase. This lovely vase is not an all around pattern as most Hoosier vases are. It has a ribbed section enclosed on 3 sides by rounded curved panels. The design is the same on two sides. It is 9 3/4" tall. 4 3/8" top diameter, 5" at widest part. There are some tiny manufacturing bubbles in the glass. Impressed mark=4087-8 B BF Hoosier Glass.
